Emil Hristov

Emil, a dedicated researcher at the GATE Institute, specializes in city digital twin projects, encompassing areas like remote sensing, rooftop recognition, and urban supply-demand dynamics.

He holds two master's degrees from the University of Aalborg, Denmark, in Urban Planning and Management, and Urban Design. Emil's expertise extends to his key role within Sofiaplan's municipal planning team, where he contributed significantly to strategic development, analysis, and the establishment of the Sofia Program, an Integrated Development Plan for Sofia Municipality.
